Lesson 3: Choose a Canva Template for Instagram

Step 1: Log In to Canva

• Visit www.canva.com

• Sign in with your account from Lesson 2

Step 2: Search for Instagram Templates

• Type "Instagram Post" into the Canva search bar

• Press enter to view available templates sized 1080x1080 px

Step 3: Use the Filter Tool (Optional)

• Use filters to narrow your search by color or style Example: Blue tones, Minimal, Medical

Step 4: Select a Template

• Choose a design that fits your message Ideas:

  • Dental Tip of the Day

  • Before & After Smile

  • Meet the Team

  • Appointment Reminder

• Click the template to open the editor

Step 5: Customize the Template

• Replace default text with your message

• Swap out the image with your own or choose from Canva’s stock photos

• Apply your brand colors and fonts from your brand kit (Lesson 2)
